Spring Forward Season for USPB's Facebook Page

Spring Forward Season for USPB's Facebook Page

Even though parts of the country’s weather may say otherwise, spring is here on the United States Potato Board’s Facebook page which focuses on the USPB’s preferred target demographic of women age 25 to 54 with children under 18 at home.

Meredith Myers, USPB Public Relations Manager, shares what is going on with the Potatoes, Taters and Spuds Facebook page.

Myers: “We are adding light and healthy new potato recipes to the dinner table by focusing on our chef and registered dietician friend Katie Cavuto Boyle. She is the star of our ‘Potato Tips and Tricks’ video that  basically dispels any of the mystery around potatoes, especially around potatoes that consumers may not have used before.”

A recent spring contest on the USPB’s Potatoes, Taters and Spuds Facebook page was met with immense and quick success as Myers explains

Myers: “In just five days, we depleted the entire supply of giveaway items and with more than 1200 fans answering the Facebook survey and more than 1585 new page likes, which was a great, great results for this contests.”

That’s the U.S. Potato Update brought to you by the United States Potato Board, maximizing return on grower investment.
