12-21 IAN Prime Rib

12-21 IAN Prime Rib

We’re getting close to Christmas and with everything else going on, it’s difficult to think about dinner.

Imagine this (it shouldn’t been too hard!)…the clock just hit 4:00 pm and you don’t have any idea what you’re serving for dinner tonight.  Traci Bracco, Executive Director, Idaho Beef Council has a great idea for you and you might be surprised.  You know it is that crazy time of year where all of us are trying to figure out meals to impress our guests and nothing eats a holiday meal like a delicious prime rib. The challenge is that a lot of people think prime rib is a difficult meal to cook and some of them might shy away from it because it is a more costly cut  and they don’t want to mess up something expensive. What we are here to share with listeners is that cooking a prime rib is very very easy. There are 3 main steps to make the perfect prime rib and we have that information on our website at www.idbeef.org, people can copy out  our roasting guide or they can call our office directly and we will be happy to send any listener to of our brochures to take all of the guesswork out of picking the right roast, how you prepare it, what to shop for and also include some great recipes.  They can call our office at 208 376-6004.
