USPB Summer Sweepstakes Started

The United States Potato Board’s first summer sweepstakes began this last weekend on their Facebook page, Potatoes, Taters and Spuds. One lucky person will win a Weber Grill.

USPB Public Relations Manager Meredith Myers explains with Memorial Day announcing the beginning of summer it is the perfect time to engage “Linda”, USPB’s demographic target. Myers shares more details about this Facebook contest asking participants to share their best summer memories.

Myers: “We will be posing questions on Facebook and asking people to answer things like: Where is your favorite place to spend a warm summer evening? What memories do you have of your favorite summer food? Things like that. So they can answers those questions and then enter the sweepstakes. Each week we will draw a winner and then finally at the end we will award a Weber Grill. So that is what is going on on the social media side of Facebook.”
