This is Tom Allen with the Market Line Report for October 3rd. It's been a wild market in the Grains trading higher with new demand from china. Livestock have taken it on the Chin, here is Greg Sanders with the weekly USDA cattle update.

Chicago March Wheat prices closed the week up 3, at 424. March corn ended the week up 7 1/4 at 346.

Portland prices for soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for oct. ended the week up 3.00-4.25 ranging from 4.7200-4.8200 . Hard Red Winter wheat with 11 ½ % protein, prices for OCT. were dn 1.75, ranging from 5.0050-5.1550. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for oct. were up 4.75, ranging from 6.0950-6.3950. Feb.

February live Cattle were dn 2.82, to finish the week at 100.42. January. Feeder cattle were dn 3.80, to close the week at 116.37. Nov. class III milk was up .04 cents at 15-56.
