From the USDA office in Greely, here is Lindsay Burnet with last week's state hay report.

Burnet: "Compared to last week, prices were steady with activity slow and demand light in all classes. Harvesting of corn silage is in full swing this week but no prices have been reported. In the NE CO areas, supreme alfalfa large squares trades were $135 delivered and good at $95 delivered. Good alfalfa small squares trades were $135 FOB or $5 per bale. Round bales of good quality millet traded at $60 FOB. In the SE CO areas premium small squares alfalfa trades were $180 FOB or $6 per bale. Premium small square grass trades FOB. Large squares of good quality of triticale traded at $60 FOB. While round bales of good quality sorghum-Sudan grass trades at $75 FOB. No trades were reported this week in the San Luis Valley areas or the SW CO areas. In the mountains of NW CO areas, premium large square grass traded at $135 FOB. Premium small square grass was $190 or $5.50 per bale."
