Colorado plans to eliminate predators to save Mule Deer. Here is reporter Susan Allen with the Details. According to Gohunt.com as part of a three year study Colorado Parks and wildlife will eliminate excess bears and mountain lions through strategic predator control in the roan plateau then monitor what happens next. This study will begin in 2017 and will be centered on the months of fawning season May and June. With Colorado's Mule Deere populations continually dropping data gathered from this research could help pinpoint other areas where predator control could be helpful.
