12-19 FB No Cattle Dust

Taking the dust out of cattle. In turn, taking hot air out of the Environmental Protection Agency.

God bless what was originally perceived to be the mission of the EPA. It was supposed to be an agency that guarded our environment, helped to serve as a steward of the land and air and water, and keep our world as pristine as possible. Sadly, like in so many things human, power, politics, and personal agendas seem to taint noble intent. Here’s an example. The EPA has been raising a lot of verbal and legislative dust over cattle drives.  Listen to a conversation that I had with Viper products and services president, Zack Tuttle, who has a product that he can use, to no pun intended, settle the dust.  “Out in Idaho we have a lot of cowboys who ride a lot of horses and run a lot of cattle. There is a lot of whining about cattle kicking up dust and the EPA is on our backside. Do you have something that can help us? I do. It was just released to me and I am calling it Dust Con. It is a dust suppressant formulation. It is a polymeric mixture that we sprayed on the roads. It allows the powder that forms on the top of the Caliche shell and it allows that powder to adhere to the Caliche. It prevents it from flying up and keeps it in a solid state. All of these products you talk about are environmentally friendly? Environmentally safe and biodegradable.
