10-6 IAN Minnick on Wolves

What does the Obama administration know about wolves in Idaho. We’ll find out in a minute. You know, there are all kinds of questions about the President’s actual birthplace. Was it Kenya…Hawaii…Tim-Buck-To. One thing I do know is that if I grew up in any of those places, I don’t think I’d be trying to muscle Idahoans about their wolf management policies. I mean, what would I know already. Well apparently Idaho Congressmen Mike Simpson and Walt Minnick feel the same way since they recently sent a letter to Secretary of Interior Ken Salazar asking that the Department of Interior work to immediately address issues of critical importance in Idaho. Simpson and Minnick asked for cooperation from the Department to find solutions on the issues of wolf management in Idaho.  Here’s Congressman Minnick spokesman Dean Ferguson: “The absolute, unvarnished gist of that letter is Idaho knows how to manage its wildlife, these wolves are clearly recovered and we need to be able to hunt them and manage them however we need to.” I don’t know where you sit on the issue of wolves, but shouldn’t it be up to the states?
