Continuing our discussion with Sportsmen's Warehouse Sales Associate Jeris Holbert about trail cam technology. "Maybe 60% of hunters are actually out there using trail cams. It's not just to hunt where the camera is, but it just gives them a good idea of what is in the area. More and more people are using trail cams to see what is on their property, their hunting spot. Let's say you live on one side of the state that you hunt on the other. A lot of guys are going to these cameras now to do the scouting for them so they don't have to run back and forth across the state. They can get pictures along with the time and date stamped on them so now the hunter knows where and when the animals are coming through. The cameras even text you whenever they see anything important. They have them where you can buy the package and set it up through your carrier.
