This is Matt Rice with the Market Line Report for Dec. 13th. Grain markets feeling pressure from the US dollar and the Chinese markets. Let's go to Scott Shellady as she covers the grain market from the floor of the CME in Chicago.

Shellady "Hi, I'm Scott Shellady here at the CME Group floors here in Chicago after a cold and snow Sunday. Markets are a little bit quieter today, but overnight they were kind of choppy ended up coming in a little bit easier. We had a little bit of a hangover from the report that we had on Friday, nothing too shocking there but they did raise stocks a tad. So maybe a touch negative, but again over night kind of choppy. The dollar still obviously going to be ahead to us, I mean we're trading up around that $1.01 level in the dollar index and that's going to be an issue."
