CLA's Front Range Livestock Symposium

CLA's Front Range Livestock Symposium

Colorado Livestock Association is hosting its annual producer educational symposium in Loveland, on Tuesday, December 6th at the Embassy Suites hotel. CLA Administrative Coordinator Kellee Mitchell shares more details about the day's agenda.

Mitchell: "We have a full day of information and educational topics: we hav trace minerals; we have information on drones and privacy and trespassing; we've an OHSA update; we have a lot of good information about clement attorneys and what they don't want employers to know about Colorado workers compensation; we're going to talk about things in Colorado air, how did they get there and why we should care; we're going to do a CLA Safety Group Stewardship and then at the end of the day we are going to have a safety meeting with complacency and safety in agriculture. We have several of our sponsors that will be there with booths — we have Ag Professionals, AgriClear, Alltech, American AgCredit, Merck, Multamen, Pinnacle and Zoetis. So it is going to be a full day of information. You can register online at www.coloradolivestock.org, there is no charge but we do need an RSVP to save you a seat for lunch.

The day's event begins with coffee and check in at 8:30.
