Frazier Named as New NCBA's CEO

The National Cattlemen’s Beef Association announced Tuesday Kendal Frazier will serve as the Association’s chief executive officer. Frazier was serving as the interim CEO before the announcement. Frazier has held several staff leadership roles in his 31 years with the NCBA and its predecessor organization. Frazier says looking at the future; NCBA has four priorities
Frazier: “One of those is to drive growth in beef exports. To open up markets overseas and increase access for U.S. beef. Another one will be to protect and enhance the business and political climate for beef. We have a production system in the U.S. that is the envy of the world. We have attempts by the government to put more regulations and more burden on that system — and that is a common denominator of every cattlemen across the country. Another one will be to grow consumer trust in how we do that. We’ve got to make sure that consumers have confidence that the product that we put on their plate everyday is safe, wholesome and gives them nutritional benefits and value. Then the fourth priority outlined in the long range plan is to promote and strength beef’s value proposition.”
Frazier was raised on a cattle and grain operation in south-central Kansas. He is a graduate of Kansas State University.
