By investing in the science, as well as the people who develop and rely on plant health products and technologies, they’re making innovation happen faster than ever. In support of that contention, the vice president of marketing and technical development for the company is Ryan Bond Ph.D. We visited with Dr. Bond at a recent trade show. “Verdesian Life Sciences Is really centered on nutriuse efficiency so if you think about wheat, it's a fairly big nitrogen consumer and we have technologies that really help farmers stabilize their nitrogen whether they're putting it into the soil or the tank of a foliar sprayer. We can use products like NutriSphere-N for soil applied and then we can come back with a product called our Takeoff which helps plants utilize nitrogen a little bit better so it is a two-pronged approach. It stabilizes the nitrogen in the soil and then with the NutriSphere-N we have the takeoff technology which helps consume that nitrogen and turn it into bio-mass and yield. So what exactly is take off technology? Take off technology was licensed from Los Alamos national laboratory and is a very unique nitrogen efficiency product.
