I'm Tom Allen with the Market Line Report for December 4th. Grain markets have taken a good jump over the day, due to the big hit the dollar took today. Wheat leading the pack, followed by corn and soy beans. Jack Scoville goes over the market from the floor of the CME.

Chicago December Wheat ended yesterday up 12 1/4, at 464 3/4. December corn ended yesterday up 6 1/4, at 369 1/2. Portland prices for soft white wheat of ordinary protein for Jan bounced back, up 11.5 ranging from 4-78 3/4 to 5-30. Hard Red Winter wheat with 11 ½ % protein, prices for Dec. jumped up 10 1/2, ranging from 5-65 1/2 to 5-76 1/2. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Dec. came back up 3 1/4, ranging from 6-27 to 6-57. Dec. live cattle closed yesterday dn $3.35, at 125.75. Jan. Feeder cattle were took a dip, dn $1.65, at 159.07 1/2. Dec. class III milk was up 3 cents, at 14-67.
