Grains End Both Day and Week Lower on Friday

I’m KayDee Gilkey with the Market Line Report for February 2, 2015.
Friday’s grain markets close brought lower prices across the board — both for the day as well as the week. USDA Grain and Livestock Reporter Greg Sanders gives an update of last week’s regional cattle report.
Sanders: “This week in the Northwest we had 3200 head of feeder cattle trade. Compared to last Friday, feeder cattle were $10 to $15 lower. Trade remains slow with light to moderate demand. The CME feeder and live cattle contracts have once again expanded the limits to $6.75 on feeders and $4.50 on live cattle. Feeder steers medium to large frames #1s and #2s current delivered price 800 to 850 pounds $196 to $209 delivered into Idaho.”
