4-24 SS Squidding

Every week I bring you story from one of the service representatives at Sportsman’s Warehouse, not because I’m doing an infomercial, but because these folks that work there and sell sportsmen’s equipment know what they are selling because they actually go out to the outdoors and practice what they preach. So it is with Chonly Chan with whom I had a conversation. I’m  going to let him describe something  for a few seconds and your job as a listener is to guess what he is talking about. “ It is a piece of lead ranging anywhere from a quarter of an ounce to 1 ounce and you wrap it with Mylar and you paint it and you had a bunch of different glow parts since you are (blanking) at night, you need it to glow, it has a minimum of 30 to 40 hooks spread across the bottom of it, usually I run only two jigs, you want the heavier jig on the bottom so that it pulls your top jig down and doesn’t get all tangled up. You are tossing it out and letting it get to the bottom and then you retrieve it a couple of feet off the bottom and then you start jigging up and down slowly and what you are looking for is ( heard it enough? Let us resolve the mystery. Here is what Chonlee) once it gets heavier, you have a squid on. I have caught up to 4 squid on one jig before
