Idaho Wine Competition-208 Wines, that’s 208 in the 208 Area Code ??The theme of the day was 208 in the 208 when Wine Press Northwest recently visited Idaho for the Idaho Wine Competition, which was held at Ste. Chapelle Winery. Two hundred and eight wines were submitted, swirled, sniffed, sipped and spit by 5 judges from Wine Press Northwest and 3 local  judges throughout the day. Here’s Moya Shatz, Executive Director of the Idaho Wine Commission: Wine Press NW is a regional wine publication that is well respected and they haven’t been to Idaho in some time so the fact that they wanted to come here is a testament to how far our wine has come.” By the end of the competition, several medals had been awarded to Idaho winemakers, including 10 gold medals and 4 double gold medals.

 The coveted Best In Show went to Fraser Vineyard's 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon. ?
