Sometimes growing up in a house full of brothers isn't all that bad, as long as you can handle a few bumps and bruises along the way, according to outdoor enthusiast Kylie Gray of Othello Washington. Of course, being the 2nd youngest sister in her family, naturally one of the first things she learned on the farm was how to bird hunt.

Kylie "I started hunting when I was younger, I was the 2nd youngest of 6 kids. I grew up around my 2 older brothers and my dad and so when I was younger they would always take me with them and we had property that we would go bird hunting on. So when I first started we would just go hunting for pheasants, I just got started doing it with them and I've been doing it off and on my whole life. We would take duck blinds out and have them set up before we would go and we would actually mostly go by little irrigation ponds and some little lakes. Now our oldest son is starting to be old enough where we wanting to try to start taking him to do it too."

Obviously everyone has their special memories when it comes to growing up hunting. What do you enjoy most from being raised with this lifestyle?

"you know I just like to be outdoors and spend time with my family, I think it's great for people to be able to have respect for guns and you know when you are able to be outdoors and have a good time while doing it, I think that's a win for everybody."

I have to agree Kylie, there's nothing better than being out in the wilderness with the ones you love most. It's just hard to beat it.
