Let’s continue the description of the ICA centennial celebration from yesterday with spokesperson Britney Hurst talking about Thursday afternoon. “We are having a traveling happy hour through downtown and Thursday night, we are joining the University of Idaho at the Snake River Stampede Rodeo. Friday we are having speakers again and agency updates from different state and central agencies and also elected officials will join us for those meetings and our cow-calf and purebred Council meeting and our feeder Council meeting and we are also having the Idaho Cattleman’s College on Friday afternoon which is about picking replacements for your herd, nutrition development and then animal health protocols and heifer marketing. That will be a really interesting panel, grocery retailers, food service personnel and health professionals about their involvement with consumer perception of the beef industry. Friday night is the Great Steak Gala which is a western formal event with dinner and an auction and we are having a band. It all comes to an end on Saturday with the Centennial Cattle Drive featuring Texas longhorn steers. Saturday evening is the Idaho Beef Day at the Races. Boise July 14-18
