CCA Executive Vice President Terry Fankhauser shares more about what they are looking for in the ideal candidate for this position.
Fankhauser: “The individual needs to understand irrigated agriculture. They need to understand the administrative structures and the laws around water use in Colorado. They need to have experience with grant writing because many of these projects will require funding. There is funding available through competitive grants at the state and national level. They will coordinate that program for us over the next year. This really being a pilot stage for us — if this works and it makes sense.
