The middle of winter with many inches of snow covering much of the West, may seem like an odd time to visit about securing shade for your livestock during the hot summer months. However as ShadeHaven Co-founder and CEO Peter Bergquist shares it is the best time to consider purchasing their easy portable shade system.

Bergquist: “Thinking about shade is probably the last thing on their mind right now. They’re clearing snow from their barnyards and areas. Really the advantage of thinking about shade now and purchasing a shade structure for your livestock — it is really the best time of year for us. We have a lot of people coming in and purchasing in the early spring. What usually happens is that we run out of inventory pretty quickly in the spring. So a lot of times customers that want their shade in the early spring, when they order will a lot of times not get it until the later in the summer. And miss the opportunity to use it through the early springtime when the heat stress can be strongest when those early spring temperatures rise and animals aren’t ready for the temperature swing.”

The Shade Haven structures are easy portable with an ATV or small vehicle and work well with a managed grazing system. To learn more go to ShadeHaven.net
