California Farm Bureau Takes Top Honors for Ag Communications
If you’ve ever seen a California Farm Bureau Ag Alert or interacted with California Bountiful, you know the stories hit home. Whether it's an update on water policy, a feature on a local grower, or a recipe that highlights what you’re producing in the field—those stories reflect the heart of California agriculture. And now, the folks behind that storytelling are getting some well-deserved national recognition.
At this year’s American Farm Bureau Federation Communications Conference in Kansas City, California was one of just five states to take home top honors—ranked among the best in the country for agricultural communications. The awards celebrate Farm Bureau communicators who are sharing the voices and values of farm and ranch families from coast to coast.
California Farm Bureau professionals were recognized with awards for Best Agriculture Story, Best Newspaper, Best Magazine, and Best Website.
AFBF President Zippy Duvall summed it up best: “The work of our communicators is exceptional, and I’m proud of how they share agriculture’s story.”
