This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Friday. Grains uniformly higher ahead of Thursday, as crop progress reports from South America continue to drive the grain market. Let’s go to Virginia McGathey with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for March closed the day Up 1 ¾, to finish at 5-84 ½. March Corn was Dn 1 ¼, to finish the day at 4-87 ¾. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for March were Dn 1 ¼, to settle at 6-24 ¼.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein was Unch, ranging from 7-00 to 7-35. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for Jan. were Unch, ranging 6-80 to 7-25. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for Jan. were Dn 1 ¼, ranging from 6-64 ¼ to 6-84 ¼. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Jan. were Dn 5 ¼, ranging from 7-98 to 8-13.

Live Cattle for Feb. were Dn $.80, closing at 175.27 ½. Jan. Feeder Cattle were Dn $1.20, to finish the day at 227.12 ½. Dec. Class III milk was Dn $.05, to settle at 16.35.
