The last time I looked, Idaho was landlocked. Meaning absolutely no oceanfront property. Despite that fact, something very unusual was found. And I want to tell you about it. David Sparks, sportsmen's spotlight with a hint to what was found. Here's Fish and Game official Roger Phillips. Speaker2: We got some reports out of Riggins that somebody had found a shark on the beach down there. And after we a couple of reports and somebody said, no, I know what a shark looks like and this is a shark. And so some of our folks from the Rapid River Hatchery went down there and looked at it. And sure enough, there was a shark on the beach. And since we know that sharks can't fly and we know that they can't live in fresh water, kind of narrow things down, somebody left it there as a joke or something. But yes, there was a shark on a beach along the Salmon River, which happened to be a salmon shark. Speaker1: So mystery kind of sort of resolved. But as interesting as finding a shark on the shores of the Salmon River, one has to wonder what was in the mind of someone that went to all that trouble to put it there.
