Dylan Davis and his son were deer hunting when they saw a couple of pretty good looking little four points, they passed up the shot, looked at each other and wondered why. But meanwhile, the two bucks had jumped over the fence and gone into another property. Dylan thought he'd ask the owner if he could hunt that property. Speaker2: So I went over there and the wife comes out and we talk for a minute and the husband, she's like, Well, my daughter's off. She just got a deer. He might let you hunt the ground because my daughter just got a deer and she's the only one that hunts. They come rolling up and he knew me and we recognized each other and said hello and chat for 5 or 10 minutes. And then I end up showing him a new way to skin that deer. They brought it out whole and they'd never done the gutless method. So I went over and showed them how to do it and did the gutless method for them and cleaned this year. And then I said, Hey, I know you've told me no for years, but would you mind if I hunt on your land? And he said, Yeah, go ahead, go hunt. We let us hunt, which was a lucky deal. Later in the evening, we went back into that area where we thought those bucks were, and sure enough, they were in a similar spot. We let them feed out and they fed out next to each other. We've learned over the years not to do the good old one, two, three thing because someone's going to mess every time. So there was two nice for points. One was probably 24, one was 25 next to each other and we rock, paper, scissors, who was shooting first and we both shoot suppressed. And so I said, All right, I'm shooting first. I shot and dropped my buck in its tracks. But if you've ever shot around a suppressor, they don't run off immediately. So my buddy was right on his and bam dropped it in his tracks and two, four points, three feet apart. I've only got one other time in my life where I've been able to harvest animals back to back like that. But we killed two nice four points, standing side by side right next to each other. Speaker1: Congratulations to both of you guys.
