Cattle On Feed Report
This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Friday. Traders eagerly awaiting the cattle on feed report coming out later today, highlighting tighter supplies which is one of the factors driving prices. Let’s go to Ted Seifried with the CME Group to find out more.Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for July closed the day Dn 13 ¾, to finish at 6-11 ¾. July Corn was Dn 6 ¼, to finish the day at 5-55 ¼. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for July were Dn 28 ½, to settle at 8-57.
Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein was Unch, ranging from 7-40 to 7-65. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for July were Dn 10 – Unch, ranging from 7-00 to 7-40. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for July were Dn 27 ¾ - 28 ½, ranging from 9-20 ½ to 9-57. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for July were Dn 31 ¼, ranging from 9-08 ½ to 9-28 ½.
Live Cattle for Aug. was Up $.50, closing at 163.62 ½. Aug. Feeder Cattle were Up $3.35, to finish the day at 234.50. June Class III milk was Dn $.40 to settle at 15.92.
