Slight Sell Off
This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Thursday. The Beef Market saw a slight sell-off yesterday but overall looking very solid. Let’s go to Virginia McGathey with the CME Group to find out more.Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for July closed the day Dn 22, to finish at 6-25 ½. July Corn was Dn 19 ¾, to finish the day at 5-61 ½. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for July were Dn 9 ¾, to settle at 8-85 ½.
Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein was Up 02 & Dn 25, ranging from 7-40 to 7-65. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for July were Up 10 – 15, ranging from 7-10 to 7-40. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for July were Dn 16 ¼ - 24 ¾, ranging from 9-48 ¼ to 9-85 ½. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for July were Dn 19, ranging from 9-39 ¾ to 9-59 ¾.
Live Cattle for Aug. was Up $.65, closing at 163.12 ½. Aug. Feeder Cattle were Dn $.32 ½, to finish the day at 231.15. June Class III milk was Dn $.01 to settle at 16.32.
