From the Ag Information Network, I’m Bob Larson. Another Ag World Golf Classic is in the books, and it was another great year for the fund raiser put on Ag World Support Systems.

With the exception of him catching a mild case of COVID, Ag World President Bryan Henninger says this year’s classic went off without a hitch…

HENNINGER … “It was a great year for the Ag World Golf Classic. You know, this was our 9th annual event supporting the Ronald McDonald House charities and what a blessing it was to be able to pull it off still in COVID season, as I participated virtually on Tuesday.”

But, Henninger says they were blessed …

HENNINGER … “I am extremely thankful for what the generous agricultural industry did for the Ronald McDonald House this year by still raising over $100,000 for the House because, as we reflect on the year that was, this past crop year was rough for the Columbia Basin.”

A challenging year for agriculture, Henninger says didn’t slow them down …

HENNINGER … “Still, the agricultural community came together with our hosts Simplot, Lamb Weston, McCain Foods, Potato Growers of Washington, and Ag World Support Systems and said, hey we really want to get behind these families when their kids are all of the sudden in the ICU.”

Tune in tomorrow for more on this year’s Ag World Golf Classic and the lofty goal set for next year.
