Good friend Chad Hood went on a September fishing trip in Alaska, but a September fishing trip in Alaska has some interesting aspects. We were in very dense brown bear country and so that was kind of one aspect of the trip that always elevates the senses, if you will. I think in the time we were out there, we had 28 different bear encounters. You know, in some cases, we saw the same bear a few times in a row, but we were able kind of one fun little thing I do when I'm on those trips as tally the amount of bear encounters that we did have to date on that trip over the course of nine days. And we at times got into spectacular silver fishing. We also were in there was a ton of pink salmon spawning, so we had some great Dolly Vardon, which are kind of similar to bull trout down here and then some good rainbow fishing as well. And you know, with those kind of trips like that was we were in Alaska, whether any time can be a little fickle. But when you're talking mid September, we got a couple of real good raging storms. And so it was actually the weather was pretty good. But that's the sometimes you hear some people just think that would be the worst trip in the world because of bears and weather and bugs and you name it. But I mean, it was awesome. Thunderstorms surrounded by brown bears. Yeah, awesome. All right.
