Corn Imports On The Rise
This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Friday. Corn on the rise as Oct. Corn imports from China up 14% from last year. Let’s go to Terry Roggensack with the CME Group to hear more.
Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for March closed the day dn 2 ¼, to finish at 8-30 ¾. Dec. Corn was dn 2 ¼, to close at 5-79 ¼. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for March were dn 6, to settle at 8-30 ½.
Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were Unch, ranging from 10-75 to 14-00. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for Feb. were Unch, ranging from 10-75 to 11-50. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for Jan. were dn 6, ranging from 9-90 ½ to 10-25 ½. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Feb. were dn 10 ¾, ranging from 11-19 ¾ to 11-39 ¾.
Live Cattle for Feb. were up $.85, closing at 137.25. Jan. Feeder cattle were up $2.45, to finish the day at 161.37 ½. Jan. Class III milk was up $.25 to settle at 18.00.
