This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Wednesday. Soybean crush finds momentum in Oct, nearing record highs reaching over 183 Million Bushels. Let’s go to Joe Vaclavik’s podcast Grain Markets and Other Stuff.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. closed the day dn 16, to finish at 8-10 ¼. Dec. Corn was dn 5 ½, to close at 5-71. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for March were dn 15 ¾, to settle at 8-22 ¾.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were Up 5 to Unch, ranging from 10-75 to 14-00. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for Feb. were Unch, ranging from 10-75 to 11-50. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for Feb. were dn 15 ¾ to 10 ¾, ranging from 9-82 ¾ to 10-17 ¾. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Feb. were dn 13 ¼ to 18 ¼, ranging from 11-17 to 11-37.

Live Cattle for Feb. were dn $.22 ½, closing at 136.10. Jan. Feeder cattle were up $.80, to finish the day at 159.27 ½. Dec. Class III milk was dn $.28 to settle at 17.21.
