This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Wednesday. Soybeans facing bearish factors from harsh weather conditions to closures in processing plants in foreign countries. Let’s go to Terry Roggensack with the CME Group to find out how that will affect the markets.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. closed the day dn 15 ¾ to finish at 7-06 ½. Dec. Corn was dn 7, to close at 5-32 ½. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. were dn 15 ¾, to settle at 7-05.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were Unch, ranging from 10-50 to 12-60. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein for Nov. were dn .25 to UNCH, ranging from 9-75 to 10-52. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein for Nov. were dn 15 ¾, ranging from 8-55 to 8-80. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Nov. were dn 14 ¼, ranging from 10-47 ¼ to 10-49 ¼.

Live Cattle for Dec. were dn $.30, closing at 127.50. Nov. Feeder cattle were up $1.47 ½, to finish the day at 157.05. Oct. Class III milk was up $.13 to settle at 17.64.
