This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Wednesday. Corn found support in the market today but is it enough to create more demand in the near future? Let’s go to Terry Roggensack with the CME Group to find out.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. closed the day up 13 ¾ to finish at 7-00 ¾. Dec. Corn was up 7, to close at 5-20 ¼. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. were up 15 ½, to settle at 7-01 ¾.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were dn 35 to Unch, ranging from 10-85 to 13-50. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein for Oct. were dn 25 to Unch, ranging from 10-50 to 11-00. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein for Oct. were up 15 ½, ranging from 8-51 ¾ to 8-76 ¾. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Oct. were up 11 ¼, ranging from 10-22 ¼ to 10-32 ¼.

Live Cattle for Dec. were up $2.50, closing at 129.65. Oct. Feeder cattle were up $2.70, to finish the day at 158.15. Oct. Class III milk was dn $.23 to settle at 17.27.
