Turkey vision

"If a turkey could smell, we'd never kill one," the

saying goes. They may not be able to smell, but according to the National Wild Turkey Federation, they can see about three times better than a human with 20/20 vision, they can see color to some degree, and with their eyes on the sides of their heads, can see at about a 270-degree angle. Any unanticipated motion sets off their alarm bells, and they're out of here. For turkey hunters, that means staying stock-still after setting up is the key to success.

To help you keep from wiggling and spooking birds, a comfortable, high-quality, portable turkey seat is so much better than sitting on the ground
