This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Monday. Live Cattle finished the week lower, while Feeders rallied. Let’s go to Greg Sanders with the USDA to hear the weekly cattle update.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Sept. closed the day dn 14 ½, to finish at 7-28 ¼. Dec. Corn was dn 13 ¾, to close at 5-37. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. were dn 12 ½, to settle at 7-15 ¾.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein was Unch, ranging from 10-00 to 12-25. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein for Oct. was Unch, ranging from 9-80 to 10-54. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein for Oct. were dn 12 ½, ranging from 8-40 ¾ to 8-75 ¾. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Oct. were dn 2 ¼, ranging from 10-32 ¼ to 10-47 ¼.

Live Cattle for Oct. were dn $.90, closing at 129.05. Sept. Feeder cattle were up $2.60, to finish the day at 165.50. Sept. Class III milk was dn $.06, to settle at 17.05.
