This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Tuesday. Feeder Cattle find resistance after kicking the week off, but overall holding solid numbers. Let’s go to Virginia McGathey with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Sept. closed the day up 25 ¾, to finish at 640 ¾. Dec. Corn was up 16, to close at 533. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Sept. were up 21 ¼, to settle at 615 ¼.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were Unch, ranging from 7-75 to 8-90. Soft white wheat with Ordinary Protein for Aug. was Unch, ranging from 7-70 to 8-42. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein for Aug. were up 21 ¼, ranging from 7-20 ¼ to 7-50 ¼. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Aug. were up 43, ranging from 9-52 ¼ to 9-72 ¼.

Live Cattle for Aug were up $.60, closing at 119.82 ½. Aug Feeder cattle were dn $1.02 ½, to finish the day at 158.15. Aug. Class III milk was up $.31, to settle at 17.85.
