This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Thursday. The Grain Market heats up after the recent USDA Report, corn limiting up and wheat following suit. Let’s go to Terry Roggensack with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Sept. closed the day up 33 ¼, to finish at 679 ½. Dec. Corn was up 40, to close at 588 ½. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Sept. were up 32, to settle at 659.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were Unch, ranging from 8-50 to 8-90. Soft white wheat with Ordinary Protein for Aug. was Unch, ranging from 7-70 to 8-50. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein for Aug. were up 32, ranging from 7-59 to 7-89. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Aug. were up 35 ¼, ranging from 9-44 ¾ to 9-54 ¾.

Live Cattle for Aug were up $.80, closing at 122.72 ½. Aug Feeder cattle were dn $2.77 ½, to finish the day at 154.62 ½. Aug. Class IV milk was Unch, to settle at 16.17.
