This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Wednesday. Hotter and dryer weather will play a big factor on the grain markets in the coming weeks. Let’s go to Terry Roggensack with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Sept. closed the day dn 5 ¼, to finish at 646 ¼. Dec. Corn was up 1 ¼, to close at 584 ½. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Sept. were up ¼, to settle at 627.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were Unch, ranging from 8-50 to 8-90. Soft white wheat with Ordinary Protein for Aug. was dn 70 to Unch, ranging from 7-70 to 8-50. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein for Aug. were up ¼, ranging from 7-27 to 7-57. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Aug. were dn 19 ½ to 24 ½, ranging from 9-09 ½ to 9-19 ½.

Live Cattle for Aug were up $.32 ½, closing at 121.92 ½. Aug Feeder cattle were up $1.05, to finish the day at 157.40. Aug. Class IV milk was dn $.03, to settle at 16.17.
