This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Monday. Grains find momentum to finish the week, while cattle see red in the market. Let’s go to Joe Vaclavik with “Grain Markets & Other Stuff” to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for July closed the day up 23 ¾, to finish at 662 ¾. July Corn was up 22 ¼, to close at 655 ¼. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Sept. were up 21 ½, to settle at 615 ¾.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were Unch, to settle at 8-50. Soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for Aug. was Unch, ranging from 7-95 to 8-50. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein, for Aug. were up 21 ½, ranging from 7-15 ¾ to 7-40 ¾. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Aug. were up 10 ranging from 8-56 ¼ to 8-76 ¼.

Live Cattle for Aug were up $.45, closing at 121.55. Aug Feeder cattle were dn $2.37 ½, to finish the day at 155.02 ½. July Class III milk was dn $.10, to settle at 16.72.
