This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Monday. Corn cooled off to finish the week while the Cornbelt faces hotter and dryer weather in the upcoming weeks, which could put a damper on the market. Let’s go to Terry Roggensack with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for July closed the day dn 3, to finish at 680 ¾. July Corn was dn 14 ½, to close at 684 ½. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for July were dn 2 ¼, to settle at 638.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were Unch, to settle at 8-50. Soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for July was Unch, ranging from 8-15 to 8-50. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein, for July were dn 2 ¼, ranging from 7-43 to 7-68. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for July were dn 10 ¾, ranging from 8-59 ¾ to 8-79 ¾.

Live Cattle for Aug were up $1.47 ½, closing at 120.02 ½. Aug Feeder cattle were up $2.77 ½, to finish the day at 151.17 ½. July Class III milk was up $.07, to settle at 17.60.
