This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Monday. Corn slipped further down the ladder to end the week with a 4½ % regression Friday, along with drought concerns in Brazil all factoring in. Let’s go to Scott Shellady with the CME Group to find out more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for July closed the day up 5 ¾, to finish at 707 ¼. July Corn was dn 31, to close at 643 ¾. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for July were Unch, to settle at 657 ¾.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with Ordinary Protein were Unch, Ranging from 7-05 to 7-90. Soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for July was Unch, ranging from 6-70 to 7-90. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein, for June were Unch, ranging from 7-72 ¾ to 7-77 ¾. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for June were dn ½, ranging from 8-45 ¾, to 8-60 ¾.

Live Cattle for June were dn $.30, closing at 115.30. Aug Feeder cattle were up $.65, to finish the day at 151.15. June Class III milk was dn $.26, to settle at 19.36.
