This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Wednesday. A stronger dollar creates some pullback in the grain markets, as traders eagerly await the USDA report coming out later today. Let’s go to Scott Shellady with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for May closed the day dn 15, to finish at 601 ¾. May Corn was dn 7 ½, to close at 539 ¼. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for May were dn 11, to settle at 558 ½.

Portland prices for Ordinary Club Wheat were Up 10-Unch, ranging from 7-50 to 8-00. Soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for May was dn 40-Unch, ranging from 6-80 to 7-65. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein, for May were dn 11, ranging from 6-78 ½ to 6-83 ½. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for May were dn 9, ranging from 7-11 ¾ to 7-26 ¾.

Live Cattle for June were dn $.42 ½, closing at 122.12 ½. May Feeder cattle were UNCH, to finish the day at 152.20. May Class III milk was up $.06, at 17.56.
