This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Thursday. Feeder Cattle close the day in the green while Live Cattle having a hard time holding steady. Let’s go to Virginia McGathey with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for May closed the day dn 12 ¼, to finish at 656. May Corn was dn 9 ¾ to close at 535 ¼. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for May were dn 9 ¼, to settle at 626.

Portland prices for Ordinary Club Wheat were Unch, ranging from 7-40 to 7-75. Soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for May was Unch, ranging from 7-30 to 7-60. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein, for May were dn 9 ¼, ranging from 7-46 to 7-66. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for May were dn 2 ¼, ranging from 7-48 to 7-68.

Live Cattle for April were dn $.02 ½, closing at 119.40. April Feeder cattle were up $.82 ½, to finish the day at 141.30. April Class III milk was up $.14, at 17.94.
