This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Monday. Cattle trending lower to finish the week as traders start to look for good out positions. Let’s go to Virginia McGathey with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for May closed the day dn 15 ½, to finish at 660 ¼. May Corn was dn 2 ¼ to close at 547 ½. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for May were dn 18 ¾, to settle at 633 ¾.

Portland prices for Ordinary Club Wheat were Unch, ranging from 7-40 to 7-70. Soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for May was Unch, ranging from 7-20 to 7-65. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein, for May were dn 19 ½, ranging from 7-54 ¾ to 7-64 ¾. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for May were dn 10 ½, ranging from 7-36 to 7-46.

Live Cattle for April were dn $1.67 ½, closing at 120.00. April Feeder cattle were dn $2.50, to finish the day at 142.57 ½. March Class III milk was dn $.34, at 16.22.
