This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Monday. Cattle rebound with helpful demand from packers driving prices higher. Here’s Virginia McGathey with the CME Group to share more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for May closed the day dn 9 ¾, to finish at 655 ½. March Corn was dn 7 ¼ to close at 541 ¾. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for May were dn 4 ¾, to settle at 638 ¼.

Portland prices for Ordinary Club Wheat were Unch, ranging from 7-40 to 7-70. Soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for April was Unch, ranging from 7-20 to 7-45. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein, for April were dn 4 ¾, ranging from 7-63 ¼ to 7-78 ¼. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for April were dn 2 ¾, ranging from 7-50 to 7-65.

Live Cattle for April were up $.75, closing at 123.67 ½. March Feeder cattle were up $.92 ½, to finish the day at 139.12 ½. March Class III milk was dn $.01, at 16.27.
