This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Tuesday. Corn picking up a little ground, shooting for the $5.50 mark as Live Cattle continue to struggle with higher feed costs. Let’s go to Scott Shellady with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for March closed the day dn 12, to finish at 651. March Corn was up 2 ¼ to close at 549 ¼. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for March. were dn 12 ¾, to settle at 625 ¼.

Portland prices for Ordinary Club Wheat were up 10-25, to settle at 7-47 ½. Soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for March was Unch, ranging from 7-00 to 7-20. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein, for March were dn 12 ¾, ranging from 7-55 ¼ to 7-65 ¼. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for March was dn 10 ½, ranging from 7-28 to 7-53.

Live Cattle for April were dn $.15, closing at 121.70. March Feeder cattle were up $.20, to finish the day at 137.92 ½. March Class III milk was dn $.47, at 16.17.
