This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Monday. Cattle saw some weaker numbers as markets dipped lower to finish the week. Let’s go to Virginia McGathey with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. closed the day up 5 ¼, to finish at 593 ½. Dec. Corn up 2 ¼, to close at 410 ½. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. were up 8, to settle at 552.

Portland prices for Club Wheat were dn 5 to Unch, ranging from 6-10 to 6-45. Portland Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein, for Jan. were up 7 ¾, ranging from 7-05 ½ to 7-15 ½. Soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for Jan. ended the day Unch, ranging from 6-15 to 6-28. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Jan. were up 4 ½, ranging from 6-85 ¼ to 7-00 ¼.

Live Cattle for Dec. were dn $2.05, closing at 109.92 ½. Jan. Feeder cattle were dn $2.85, to finish the day at 137.87 ½. Dec. Class III milk was dn $.75, at 17.71.
