This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Friday. Soybeans take a slight dip, but demand looks promising to keep the market going in the right direction. Let’s go to Scott Shellady with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. closed the day dn 9 ¾, to finish at 588 ¼. Dec. Corn dn 9, to close at 408 ¼. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. were dn 10 ¼, to settle at 544.

Portland prices for Club Wheat were dn 5 to Unch, ranging from 6-10 to 6-45. Portland Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein, for Jan. were dn 9 ¾, ranging from 6-97 ¾ to 7-07 ¾. Soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for Jan. ended the day Unch, ranging from 6-15 to 6-28. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Jan. were dn 7 ¼, ranging from 6-85 ¼ to 7-00 ¼.

Live Cattle for Dec. were dn $.42 ½, closing at 111.97 ½. Jan. Feeder cattle were up $.52 ½, to finish the day at 140.07 ½. Dec. Class III milk was dn $.46, at 18.46.
