This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Tuesday. Cattle surging higher today, with talk of new vaccine on the horizon, and a potential light at the end of this dark tunnel. Let’s check in with Virginia McGathey with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Wheat prices for Dec. closed the day dn 4 ½, to finish at 597 ½. Dec. Corn up ¾, to close at 407 ¾. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. were dn 2 ¾, to settle at 552 ½.

Portland prices for Club Wheat were Unch, ranging from 6-10 to 6-40. Portland Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein, for Jan. were dn 2 ½, ranging from 7-05 ¼ to 7-15 ¼. Soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for Jan. ended the day Unch, Ranging from 6-15 to 6-20. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Jan. were dn 2, ranging from 6-89 ½ to 7-04 ½.

Live Cattle for Dec. were up $3.17 ½, closing at 111.82 ½. Jan. Feeder cattle were up $4.80, to finish the day at 140.72 ½. Dec. Class III milk was up $.36, at 19.06.
