This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Wednesday. Soybeans on the rise, partially due to a lower dollar. Let’s go to Scott Shellady with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Wheat prices for Dec. closed the day up ½, to finish at 608. Dec. Corn up 3 ½, to close at 401. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. were up 4, to settle at 557.

Portland prices for Club Wheat were Unch, ranging from 6-00 to 6-25. Portland Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein, for Jan. were up 4 ¼, ranging from 7-07 ¼ to 7-12 ¼. Soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for Dec. ended the day Unch, ranging from 5-94 to 6-00. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Jan. had a mixed market, up 1 ¼ and dn 3 ¾, ranging from 6-90 ¼ to 7-00 ¼.

Live Cattle for Dec. were dn $.72 ½, closing at 107.82 ½. Jan. Feeder cattle were dn $.87 ½, to finish the day at 133.17 ½. Nov. Class III milk was up $.06, at 23.86.
